Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the LabCanvas website, apps and tools (the “Service”), provided by Labcanvas Private Limited, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

The apps require an account; the website and the free tools do not. A free account can use the apps with one design of each kind and cannot download or export designs; a LabCanvas Pro subscription removes these limits. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Give accurate information when you sign up.

2a. Subscriptions and payment

LabCanvas Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown at checkout for your country, through our payment partner Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record and adds taxes where they apply. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails, access may pause until the payment is completed. We may change prices for future billing periods after telling you in advance. AI credits included with a plan are for use during that month, do not carry over and have no cash value.

3. Use of the Service

You are responsible for your use of the Service and for content you create or upload, including compliance with applicable laws. Do not misuse the Service: for example, do not interfere with it, try to access it other than through the interfaces we provide, upload content you have no right to share, or use it to infringe others’ rights.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the figures, slides, scenes, data and other content you create. You may use your exports in publications, presentations, posters, grants and commercial work. Designs are stored in your browser and, if you choose, in your private cloud folder; keep your own backups as well (File › Save a copy).

5. Our content and licences

The Service, its software, design and original content (excluding your content) belong to LabCanvas and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of India and other countries. Library icons and models are provided for use in figures you make with LabCanvas. Third-party components are used under their own licences.

6. Scientific results

Calculators, statistics and generated visuals are provided to help you, not as professional advice. Check results against your protocols and data before relying on them in research, publications or clinical decisions.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to give notice of significant changes. The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, LabCanvas is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
